So to answer your question - warm countries in winter, and cold countries in summer. As simple as that.

However, if I am going to a tropical country in winter … it’s so much more pleasant. In India, I always travel in winter - specifically between Oct-Feb. my favorite time to travel in India is during Diwali. This is one time when the whole country is lit, and the people have joy in their hearts, and they are even more hospitable than they usually are!

I use my summers to travel to Europe and North America. Yes, Europe gets crowded and expensive. But I enjoy the really long days, sometimes 16 hours - I have seen the sun setting at 9:30 pm in Venice. And I don’t have to worry about carrying hazaar warm clothes.
