I do not know what your last name is

so I’m not sure that the name I heard on TV last night would go with it but, I thought it was absolutely beautiful and so unique…but not sounding so odd that a child would feel uncomfortable hearing their teacher call on them, or fear that the other kids might laugh when they heard it and… I really don’t think that it is a name that would readily become knick name ! ( In regards to becoming a knick name….My name being Mary-Jane could have become ( Mary) so easily & yes, some of my teachers tried that, but my Parents (primarily my Mother, who did not like just plain Mary) made it perfectly clear to them, beginning right in first grade, that I was to be called by my name and I really never had any trouble in school so all my friends never called me anything but Mary-Jane! After I became a teenager I had one Uncle (may he RIP) who called me MJ and a few people do now,( I myself do use it once in awhile when someone asks me my name and it just seems better to say MJ rather than to let them say, Mary) but up to this day. and I am (72), I never really answer to Mary because my ears do not hear it! Just the other day at the Doctor’s office they called Mary to be next and I just sat there cause I didn’t think it was me until she said my last name! Now for the name, it was spelled …..Charmoneaux, but it was Pronounced Charmonae ( ending on the idea of the name Renae or to make it as easy as possible Renay which isn’t as nice!) But to answer your question….Kelsey is a very pretty name too and she is your baby…name her what YOU LIKE…Good Health & Much Happiness! God Bless!
